Bill Burrud started his show business career as a child actor with appearances in many movies from 1935 through the early 1940s. He moved on to become a television producer, settling into a genre of animal documentaries, adventure programs and movies, and became the foremost host of such programs such as Safari to Adventure and Animal World, earning him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
