Karol Bush was the Intermediate Grade student judged to have the most original costume at the Mar-Ken Halloween Party.

She contributed this poem to the Yearbook:

WINTER

Winter is here.
It brings good cheer.
Everybody’s happy and gay
They wish it would stay.
Then the spring comes in,
Then summer
And fall
Then the good old winter
Time
It rolls by like a new
Dime.

KAROL BUSH: She was born in Los Angeles, California on February 14, 1937. Her ambition is to become a toe dancer. Her favorite food is asparagus and her favorite sport is swimming. Her hobby is knitting.

Karol was co-editor and an artist for the Mar-Ken Junior High Midway in 1949.
