WHAT’S COOKIN’ – 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades: Pamela Payton, third grader, is very busy rehearsing in a Max Reinhart play called “The Cabbage and Careers.”

From the 1943 Mar-Ken Primary & Junior High School Annual:
•Pamela is co-Vice-President of the 3rd/4th Grade Class.
•Pamela wrote about “The French Language” and co-authored an article on the class “Open House” for the Annual.

From the 1946 Mar-Ken Inermediate & Junior High School Yearbook:
•Pamela Payton is the Junior High School Semester I class secretary.
•CLASS AMBITIONS: Pamela Payton wants to be an actress, dancer, and singer in pictures. Pam has been thinking of this for about three years now. She also does musical comedy. Pam said its fun and she likes to do it.
•Pamela is Staff Reporter for the Mar-Ken Journal and contributed an article in the Yearbook on the French Class and several entries about Peace. [See the Yearbook for her writings.]
