“Here’s To The Mar-Ken Way”
We’re the students of Mar-Ken school
We’ve now ideas for the golden rule
All our studies are such play
When they’re applied in the modern way
Readin’ ‘rten’ an’ ‘rithmetic
Taught to the tune of a Hickory Stick
They’re old fashioned and they’re passé
Here’s to the Mar-Ken way.

Words and Music by Florence Pepper and Betty Walter
