She flew to San Diego, had dinner there and took in all the sights. / She took the 9:30 plane and arrived home at 10:30 p.m. although the actual trip took only 55 minutes. Joan says that the plane had no effect on her going up. They had a fine view of the land as they flew along the coast and she was sorry when the trip was over.
