James West is the Comics staffer in this issue of Mar-Ken Journal – “Grades” [school] insert. He is also a reporter for the article “You and I – From Primary to Junior High”.

•James West is the Comic Editor for this issue of the student newspaper.
•YOU AND I: James West gave a party last Friday and everyone had fun. We got there about 7:00 and left around 11:00.  We had records, refreshments, candy and games. Everyone was in costume. Thanks to Mrs. West and James. All had a good time.
•Seventh grader, James West, reviewed the movie “City for Conquest.”

James served as District Attorney before the Student District Court. He did the Comic Strip for the Mar-Ken Journal, and served as the Official Stenciler for the Yearbook. He created the sound effects for the Mar-Ken Rhythm Band. James also co-authored an article on Communication for the Yearbook.
