From the October 25, 1940 Mar-Ken Journal:
•WHO’S WHO: Among the Seniors Are – Small and dark and hailing from Delaware is Gloria Wyman, one of the recent additions to Mar-Ken.  Gloria whose intimates call her “Glory”, has histrionic ambitions and hopes to act someday upon the New York stages. Miss Wyman is especially fond of tennis and dancing, and ice cream would be enjoyed at every meal. When asked her opinion of Mar-Ken, Gloria replied, “I like it very much”.  Good luck Gloria.
•SNOOPER: Dancing at the Cocoanut Grove Thursday evening was one of the recent additions to Hollywood and Mar-Ken, Gloria Wyman. Nice spot isn’t it, Gloria?

From the Mar-Ken 1941 Yearbook:
Gloria Weyman — Wilmington, Delaware
Says songstress Gloria Weyman, “I hope to be an actress”,
Who also does a weakness for real hot dogs confess,
It seems she also likes to bowl, and read to pass the time,
And I’m sure we all are wishing her luck on stardome climb.
