Constance Colleen Hopkins ("Connie")
Oldest sister of and Barbara and Jackie Hopkins.

Died: 4 March 1983, Los Angeles, California, homicide victim.
Connie Hopkins and her two sisters attended Mar-Ken School for one year, 1955-56.
After completing her schooling, Connie worked as a model. She was on the early The Price is Right television show. She married James Raul 'Mike' Navarro and they have a son, David Michael Navarro, born in Santa Monica, California on June 7, 1967. Dave Navarro is a guitarist, model, and actor. Among the bands he has performed in are Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. After Connie divorced Mike in 1975, she and her son David lived in Bel Air. On March 4, 1983 Connie and her friend Susan Jory were murdered by Connie's jealous ex-boyfriend, John Riccardi, when Connie tried to break off the relationship. Riccardi broke into her apartment and shot both women. He was arrested after being featured on the TV show America's Most Wanted in 1991 and was convicted and sentenced to death in 1994.
An article on the America's Most Wanted website says "Dave describes his mother as a very spiritual person, very grounded and very earthy... she loved nature, loved children and fitness."
