Born as Emylyn Pique, she took the professional name of Mitzi Mayfair. Mitzi attended Lawlor Professional School in Hollywood. She was a tap dancer in Broadway plays and appeared in movies from the mid-1930s into the 1940s. She was married to 20th Century Fox executive Charles Henderson.
