Margaret Whiting

Margaret Whiting was in show business for over seven decades. She attended Mar-Ken School in Hollywood in 1940 as a junior. She was a singer, who at the young age of 7 came to the attention of Johnny Mercer who was working with Margaret's song writing father, Richard "Dick" Whiting. Mercer helped direct Margaret's career as over the years she recorded over 500 records, including 12 gold records. Her popular hits include That Old Black Magic, My Ideal, It Might as Well Be Spring, Come Rain or Come Shine, Guilty, Moonlight in Vermont, Far Away Places, Now Is the Hour, A Tree in the Meadow, and Slippin Around. In her later years she was a star on the TV comedy, Those Whiting Girls. She was married four times: CBS TV Executive Hubbell Robinson, pianist Lou Busch (Joe"Fingers" Carr), Panavision founder John Richard Moore, and gay porn star Jack Wrangler.
