She was Mar-Ken School’s cook, and was known to the students as Ruthie. She signed Dolores Conlin’s 1941 Mar-Ken Yearbook as “The Cook,” and she is mentioned in the 1941, 1942, 1944, 1945, 1946 and 1949 Mar-Ken School Yearbooks as the Mar-Ken cook.
