•SENIORS ATTEND ROLLER DERBY
Last Thursday evening, the 6th, the Senior Class had another exciting activity – – all went to the Roller Derby after supper at the school. The meal was purchased and prepared by some of the girls, and the entire class, with Mrs. Bessire and Miss Barbul, sat down to a delicious, but inexpensive, meal in the Seniors’ Room. After supper, through the courtesy of passes and later of the “Dead End” Kids, all got seats at the edge of the rink. Gabie Dell, Huntz Hall, and Hally Chester broadcasted during the evening.
Currie’s Malted Milk Shop refreshed thirsty throats, dry from cheering. A swell time was had indeed? (And the Seniors got to bed early too, because it was a school night. How’s that for a good example to other class-groups?!)
Hally Chester has been signed for two more pictures at Universal and options for ten more.
