Junior Durkin

He attended Lawlor Professional school.

(1915-1935) An actor of stage and screen, the son of actress Florence Edwards, he began his short career as a child actor before the age of three. He is best known for his role of Huckleberry Finn in two movies, Tom Sawyer in 1930 and Huckleberry Finn in 1931. He died coming home from a dove hunting trip when Jackie Coogan’s father driving at high speed, missed a curve and went over a cliff, killing himself, Junior and two other passengers. Only Jackie Coogan survived the crash.
