Louise Erickson “Bobbie”

Louise Erickson was on many radio shows, including, “A Date With Judy” as Judy (1945-1949), Granby’s Green Acres (1950), and as Marjorie on “The Great Gildersleeve” radio comedy show (1943 to 1948), and “The Allan Young Show.” She acted in movies in the 1940s and the early 1950s.

Louise Erickson married actor Ben Gazzara in 1951. They were divorced in 1957.

From the 1942 Mar-Ken Yearbook, as a Sophomore:
Born on the 28th day of February, our Louise is an accomplished actress with years of radio experience and a knack for designing, which is her ambition. She likes the “Nutcracker Suite”, horseback riding and reading. She enjoys all her studies but considers Literature the most enjoyable.

From the September 28, 1942 Mar-Ken Journal:
ON THE SETS: Dix Davis, Dellie Ellis and Louise Erickson who were on the “Date With Judy” show this summer are scheduled for more air shows in the very near future.
